Electrolysis

How does electrolysis work?

Based on a personal and confidential consultation, your electrologist will design a treatment plan that addresses your specific hair removal needs.

Using a very fine (filament, probe, electrode, needle) and inserting it into the hair follicle alongside the hair. The probe is no bigger than the size of the hair and it will easily slide into the follicle with little or no discomfort. One this probe has been inserted and placed properly you will apply a minute amount of current down in the root of the hair. This current will cauterize the blood vessel (dermal cord) feeding blood to the hair root.
